The Supreme Court on Tuesday i.e. today heard the petition challenging the Benami Property Act. During this, the court said that the amendment made in the Benami Property Act-2016 is not up to the mark. Along with this, the Supreme Court, taking a big decision, has repealed the law of punishment of up to three years in the case of benami property. This provision was made in section 3(2) of the Benami Transactions Act, 2016. The court said that this section is clearly arbitrary. Watch the video and stay connected for more updates.
