Sunny Deol attended the special screening of Laapataa Ladies, produced by Aamir Khan and directed by Kiran Rao.
Laapataa Ladies is gaining momentum as the film is nearing its release on March 1 this year. Ahead of the film’s release, a special screening was held in Mumbai on Monday, February 27, for Bollywood celebs. Big industry names like Sunny Deol were present at the event.
Sunny Deol looked dapper in a grey suit worn with a black shirt as he attended the special screening of Kiran Rao’s directorial venture. Kiran Rao looked stunning as she posed for the cameras in a yellow saree. She was also joined by Aamir Khan, the film’s producer. Aamir looked handsome in a black ensemble.
The special screening of the film was attended by several Bollywood celebrities like Karan Johar, Konkona Sen Sharma, Amol Parashar, Ali Fazal, Radhika Apte, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Sayani Gupta among others. Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan also attended the screening with her husband Nupur Shikhare.
As the trailer of the film has introduced the audience to the humorous world created by director Kiran Rao, it has piqued everyone’s excitement to witness this comedy-drama starring Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastav, and Nitanshi Goel along with Ravi Kishan.
The film is jointly produced by JioStudios and Aamir Khan Productions. The film’s script is based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami. The screenplay and dialogue are written by Sneha Desai, while the additional dialogues have been jotted down by Divyanidhi Sharma.
As for Sunny Deol, the actor is preparing to film his next big feature, Lahore 1947, following a successful comeback with Gadar 2. The highly-anticipated film, produced by Aamir Khan Productions, has already generated excitement among fans. Sunny Deol, Rajkumar Santoshi, and Aamir Khan will collaborate for the first time. Preity Zinta has been roped in as the female lead in the film. This film will mark her comeback in Bollywood since she moved to the USA.
