Jakhar had claimed, 42 MLAs were in my support

Sunil Jakhar had claimed a few days ago that after the removal of Captain, Congress had got the Punjab MLAs voted. In which 42 out of 78 MLAs were in his favor. 16 were in support of Sukhjinder Randhawa, 12 Maharani Preneet Kaur and 6 Sidhu. Charanjit Channi had the support of only 2 MLAs but he was made CM.

Jakhar said – I am with Congress

Sunil Jakhar, who reached Halwara airport to welcome Rahul Gandhi, said that whatever decision the high command will take regarding the CM face, it will have to be accepted by everyone. He said that I am not in the race for CM face. I am not even contesting the assembly elections. On Congress’s CM formula, Jakhar said that he will not say anything about the village which he does not know. Jakhar confirmed that he is away from active politics but is with Congress.
