Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan’s sister, Sunaina Roshan, recently shared her battle with a rare form of cancer: cervical lymphoma. This unusual cancer, affecting the cervix, was diagnosed after Sunaina noticed unusual blood clots during her period and sought medical advice. Despite the rarity of cervical lymphoma, it is distinct from more common forms of cervical cancer as it originates in lymphatic tissues rather than the cervix itself, where lymphoid tissue is absent.
Dr. Ganesh Rewas highlighted that lymphoma of the cervix is extremely rare. Sunaina, affected by significant hair loss, expressed concerns about this side effect. Early symptoms to watch for include abnormal vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, and unusual discharge.
