In Jodhpur, a young man committed suicide by killing the entire family. He hit the father with an ax and threw the mother and two sons in the tank after feeding them sleeping pills. This heart-wrenching incident is from Pilwan village of Lohawat. Farmer Shankar Lal (38) attacked his father Sonaram (65) with an ax and injured him earlier on Thursday evening and fled the spot. Seeing Sonaram injured, some people took him to the hospital, where he died during late night treatment. However, the reason why the youth took this step is not yet known.
On reaching home, Shankar mixed sleeping pills in the food of the rest of the family. Everyone fainted from this, so first of all, his mother Champa (55) was thrown into the water tank (tanka) made at home. His son Laxman (14) was also sleeping there, throwing him in the tank. Shankar’s younger son Dinesh (8) was sleeping with his mother, at around 5 in the morning, he also threw him in the tank. On Friday morning, people saw the bodies floating in the tank and informed the police. Jodhpur Rural SP Anil Kayal said that in the initial investigation, the matter of dispute with the wife has come to the fore, but nothing is confirmed yet.
