Success Story: Carpenter’s son becomes JAC board matriculation topper, aspires to become an IAS officer

This proverb has been proved right by Jharkhand Board’s matriculation exam topper Abhijeet Sharma. The emergence of a carpenter’s son as a state topper in the Jharkhand Academic Council ie JAC 10th examination is no less than a big achievement.

Abhijeet Sharma, son of a carpenter from Jamshedpur, has topped the class 10th examination results declared by the Jharkhand Board on Tuesday. Abhijeet Sharma’s father works as a carpenter. Abhijeet has secured first position in the state with 490 marks out of a total of 500 marks in the examination. Abhijeet Sharma, a student of Ramkrishna Mission English School in Bistupur, brought laurels to his school by becoming a Jharkhand topper in the matriculation board examination.

Revealing his future plans, Abhijeet Sharma said that he aims to study software engineering and become an IAS officer. JAC topper Abhijeet Sharma told in an interview that I am glad that I scored well in the exam. Now, my target is to become an IAS officer. My father Akhilesh Sharma is a carpenter and my mother is a housewife. Dad repairs chairs by providing door-to-door services for a living.

This year six students have secured first position in Jharkhand class 10th board examination 2022. While two students have secured second rank, a total of six students have secured third rank, and three have secured fourth rank. In addition, 10 students have secured fifth position. This year, the overall pass percentage of class 10th students is 95.60 per cent.
