A dispute broke out between two groups of students at a college in Moga in Punjab on Sunday. In fact, in view of the defeat of Pakistan team in the final match of T20 World Cup cricket, people of a community started raising slogans of Pakistan Zindabad. Then when he raised slogans of Hindustan Murdabad, he got into a dispute with other students. The incident took place at Lala Lajpat Rai Group of Institute College in Ghalghalan village on Ferozepur Road. In the hostel of the college, all the students were sitting together watching on the LEDs.
When the hostel warden tried to stop the confrontation, people of one community also grabbed the warden and scuffled with him too. The enraged students ransacked the hostel and beat up some students. Three students have been injured in the fight, who have been admitted to the hospital. All the students are medical students.
The hostel warden informed the police. Police reached the spot and lathi-charged the students of both the communities to disperse them. During this, some youths were making videos there, so the police used sticks on them too.
