Scientists of Delhi University (DU) have found a strange egg of dinosaur in Dinosaur Fossil National Park in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. Actually, there is an egg inside this egg too. Researchers say that such a discovery has been made for the first time in the world. The research has been published in the journal Scientific Reports.

According to the news agency PTI, the egg found by the researchers is of a titanosaurid dinosaur. A total of 10 eggs were found in the research, out of which one egg is also inside the egg. This rare egg has two circular shells and there is a distance between the two shells. The diameter of the large egg is 16.6 cm and the diameter of the small egg is 14.7 cm. They believe that the breeding of dinosaurs will be known from this egg.
Questions raised on the breeding of dinosaurs
The reproductive biology of dinosaurs may have resembled that of crocodiles and birds rather than lizards and tortoises. Actually, scientists till now consider the reproduction of dinosaurs like reptiles, but getting eggs in eggs is common in birds. Therefore, over time, these dinosaurs may have adopted the process of breeding birds. It could be part of evolution in a way.
