The incident is from Panigate area near Mandvi in ​​Vadodara, where both the sides got involved between 11 to 12 pm on Monday night. According to the police, late night some people were taking the Ganesh idol to be installed. At the same time, there was a dispute between these people regarding some matter, in which one person stoned the other.

A stone was hit by a person from another community coming out from nearby, after which stone pelting started. The CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, in which stone-pelting and stampede can be seen.

The people who pelted stones were chased by the police.
