Vigilance will record the statements of 7 more Aam Aadmi Party MLAs in the case of horse-trading of MLAs under Operation Lotus in Punjab. The Vigilance team has so far recorded the statements of MLAs Sheetal Angural and Raman Arora only. AAP MLAs have said in a complaint to DGP Gaurav Yadav that they were offered money and threatened to join the BJP.

In the matter, on the legal opinion of the Law Officer of the Bureau of Investigation, a case was registered against unknown people in the State Crime Cell. After this, the government transferred the investigation to the Vigilance Bureau. Vigilance Bureau constituted SIT to investigate the matter, but no person has been named so far.

Statements of these MLAs will be recorded

On Monday, the statements were recorded by MLA from Jalandhar West, Sheetal Angural and MLA from Jalandhar Central, Raman Arora. Now MLA from Garhshankar Jai Kishan Rodi, Bassi Pathana MLA Rupinder Happy, Budhlada MLA Budhram, Derabassi MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa, Nahar Singh Wala MLA Manjit Singh Bilaspur, Rupnagar MLA Dinesh Chadha and Bhucho Mandi MLA Master Jagseer Singh K. Statements will be recorded.

Opposition said – promises are not being fulfilled

At the same time, Congress and BJP MLAs are talking about the AAP lying in relation to the matter and not only talking about the real issues of Punjab but only drama.
