Jammu and Kashmir Director-General of Police Dilbag Singh spoke the stampede that took place at Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine on Saturday. The incident led to the death of 12 pilgrims and 15 others were wounded. The stampede was triggered by a heavy rush of devotees on New Year’s Day. Of the 15 injured in the stampede at Vaishno Devi shrine, four have been discharged as they had minor injuries.
