According to Rajesh Kumar, the public relations officer (PRO) of the IRCTC (Patna), the trip to Srinagar will last five nights and six days. However, a triple occupancy room with a child will cost Rs 26,310 per person.
“This time, the IRCTC will take a maximum of 16 tourists from Patna on the ‘Jannat-e-Kashmir’ trip. During their five-night stay, tourists will be taken on a tour of Srinagar, which is surrounded by massive lakes, meadows, and unique floating gardens in the valley areas. They will be able to visit the emerald valley of Kashmir, Gulmarg, Sonamarg, and Pahalgam,” Rajesh told this reporter, adding that privileged tourists would spend one night in a deluxe houseboat in Srinagar.
The PRO continued, “The IRCTC will ensure that all tourists stay in comfortable hotels in Srinagar and arrange for vehicles for sight-seeing purposes. Additionally, tourists will travel in economy class and receive special security protection during their six-day stay. They will also be served breakfast and dinner.”
The flight will depart from Patna at 8.25am on March 12 and arrive in Srinagar at 2.30pm that day. Later, tourists will leave Srinagar at 1.05pm on March 17 and reach Patna at 5.40pm.
