Bhubaneswar: The state sports and youth services department has launched a talent hunt for budding sportspersons and to nurture them to become future stars.
Its has invited students in the 8-18 age group to register on the website of the sports department, while the selection will be carried out through trials to be conducted in phases.
Officials said the selected candidates will be enrolled in various sports hostels of the state or in the coaching programmes provided by the sports department. As part of the process, the department has also sought the registration of coaches and physical education teachers to mentor the budding sportspersons.
