Intensifying the demand for a probe into the Adani row, AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Thursday said the ED was not willing to take his complaint on the matter and denied him appointment 11 times.
“Raiding squadron ED is not free to take the complaint on Adani Mega Scam. I sought an appointment 11 times. Finally, with great difficulty my team was able to submit the complaint to ED on the matter,” Singh tweeted.
The stocks of Adani Group have taken a beating since US short-seller Hindenburg Research accused it of stock manipulation and accounting fraud. The Adani Group has denied any wrongdoing and has threatened to sue Hindenburg.
