Sony Unveils PS5 Pro At $699.99, Netizens Kickoff Memefest — Here Are Best Ones

Sony has officially unveiled the much awaited PlayStation 5 Pro recently, and it is set to be launched before the global markets on November 27, 2024. The PS5 Pro comes with a price tag of $699.99. This fresh upgraded console promises major improvements in performance and visual fidelity. These improvements make it an attractive option for gaming enthusiasts who are looking for top-notch graphics. Since the unveiling, people have been going nuts over it.

PS5 Pro: What We Know So Far

The PS5 Pro boasts a 67% more powerful GPU and 28% faster memory than the original, delivering up to 45% quicker rendering for smoother visuals and improved gaming performance. Key upgrades include advanced ray tracing, casting light rays up to three times faster, and the introduction of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), an AI-based upscaling tech that boosts image quality and frame rates. The console supports 8K resolution, Wi-Fi 7, and variable refresh rates to eliminate screen tearing. 

Over 50 launch titles, including Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, will be made available as “PS5 Pro Enhanced.” Backward compatibility includes over 8,500 PS4 games, with Game Boost mode improving performance. The PS5 Pro also features a 2TB SSD, doubling the storage of previous models, while maintaining a design that fits existing setups.

A memefest has been kicked off upon seeing the PS5 Pro announcement. Some people came in support of the new PlayStation whereas a number of people cracked jokes about it.
