Sony’s Bravia 4K lineup has two new additions in the Indian market that are powered by its AI processor which brings new features
Sony has unveiled its flagship Mini LED TV line-up, the BRAVIA 9 series in the Indian market, following the recent launch of the BRAVIA 3 series. The new series features a sleek one-slate design with an integrated screen and narrow bezel, minimizing distractions. Its curved steel stand with a metallic finish adds elegance and the underlay stand allows for flexible placement.
The BRAVIA 9 series boasts XR Backlight Master Drive and XR Contrast Booster 30 technology for enhanced contrast and shadow detail, along with High Peak Luminance for bright, detailed imagery even in daylight. Additionally, the series supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and DTS Audio for an immersive viewing experience.
Sony Bravia 9 Mini LED 4K TV series: Price in India
Sony Bravia 9 4K Mini LED TV series price starts at Rs 4,49,990 for the 75XR90 model, while the larger 85XR90 model comes with a price tag of Rs 5,99,990 in the Indian market. Those interested in purchasing the LED TVs can buy the models via Sony Centers, major electronic stores and e-commerce websites in India.
Sony Bravia 9 Mini LED 4K TV Series: Specifications
The BRAVIA 9 series is available in 75-inch and 85-inch sizes. It sports Mini LED displays with 2,160×3,840 pixels’ resolution. The series is powered by the advanced AI Processor XR with a 120Hz refresh rate, which enhances scenes for deep contrasts, vibrant colours and exceptional clarity. The processor on the new smart TV enables features like XR Motion Clarity and XR Clear Image 4K upscaling to reduce motion blur. The company claimed to offer improved colour accuracy with its XR Triluminos Pro and Live Colour technology.
Powered by Google TV, the BRAVIA 9 offers access to more than 4,00,000 movies and TV episodes and over 10,000 apps and games. It supports hands-free voice search and wireless streaming from Apple AirPlay 2 and Home Kit for easy integration with Apple devices.
The smart TV series displays are IMAX Enhanced certified and feature a new Amazon Prime Video picture mode along with Netflix’s adaptive calibrated mode and SonyPictures’ core calibrated mode. For those having PS5, the Sony Bravia 9 Mini LED TV boasts Auto HDR Tone Mapping and an Auto Game Mode. In addition to that, the smart TV offers support for variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode (ALLM).
The speaker unit comprises Frame tweeters on the sides and Acoustic Multi-Audio+ with a Beam tweeter at the top. Moreover, there is a game menu feature for quickly accessing gaming functions all in one place.
It is equipped with a camera called Bravia Cam that can detect gestures and ambient optimisation. It is integrated with Zoom and Google Meet Meetings, allowing users to host video calls directly from the TV.
