Congress President Sonia Gandhi is battling a serious infection in the respiratory tract. After Kovid, there was blood in his nose recently. On Friday, the Congress shared important information regarding his health.
Former Union Minister and Congress spokesperson Jairam Ramesh told that Sonia Gandhi is still admitted in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. He is undergoing treatment for respiratory tract infection and post-Covid-19 complications. He is under the close supervision of doctors.

Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that a ‘fungal infection’ has been detected in the lower respiratory tract of the Congress President. He said that he is undergoing treatment in view of this infection and complications after the Kovid-19 infection. Congress President Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on June 12 due to health complications after being diagnosed with Kovid. She was found infected with the corona virus on 2 June.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued fresh summons to the Congress President to appear for questioning on June 23 in a money laundering case related to the National Herald. Earlier, he was asked to appear on June 8, but due to corona being infected, he had requested for a new date to appear before the investigating agency.
