Haryana BJP leader Sonali Phogat’s family had demanded a CBI inquiry into the death case. Sonali Phogat’s family is going to Chandigarh to meet the Chief Minister of Haryana. The family says that they are going to apply to Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar for a CBI investigation. Sonali Phogat’s daughter has also gone along. The family said that the daughter will submit the application to the CM.
BJP leader and actress Sonali Phogat had gone to Goa on August 22 to shoot a song. On Tuesday morning, he was taken to a hospital in Goa due to ill health. Where doctors declared him brought dead. Initially it was said that he died due to a heart attack. However, the accused arrested later made many revelations. In which he also talked about forcibly giving MDMA drugs to Sonali Phogat.
Police arrested four people
CCTV footage related to this case has also come to the fore. After examining this footage, the police arrested Sonali Phogat’s PA Sudhir Sangwan and his associate Sukhwinder Singh in this case on Friday. In the video, the trio was seen partying at a club. Goa Police has also arrested the owner of Curlies Beach Shack in Anjuna and a suspected drug peddler.
