Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal wedding: Actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s pre-wedding festivities seem to have already started. Sonakshi dropped a bunch of pictures on Monday from her bachelorette party. She was spotted having a good time with Huma Qureshi and Zaheer’s sister, Sanam. The couple is set to tie the knot on June 23. Prior to their wedding ceremony, they will reportedly host their haldi ceremony on June 20.
According to Hindustan Times, the haldi function will take place at Sonakshi’s Bandra home. “It will be a tight setting with only close friends and family, and less than 50 people have been invited for the function, and that’s why they opted for Sona’s house as the venue,” a source told the portal.
“Since the day they started planning their wedding, they were sure about having their close-knit circle around for their festivities and end the celebrations with a huge party. Of course they want to celebrate their happiness with their industry friends, so the reception will be big,” the source adds.
As per reports, Sonakshi Sinha will not opt for conventional decor for the haldi ceremony. The actor has decided not to go with a yellow and pink-themed haldi but rather pick something different from mainstream decoration.
Earlier, in an interview with Zoom, Shatrughan Sinha said that he was not aware of their wedding. He said, “I am in Delhi right now. After the election results, I flew down here. I haven’t spoken to anyone about my daughter’s plans. So your question is, is she getting married? The answer is that she hasn’t told me anything about it.”
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been dating each other for a few years now. The actors shared the screen space in the 2022 film ‘Double XL’, also starring Huma Qureshi.
