Son-in-law was burnt alive by in-laws in village Shimla of Kalayat block in Kaithal, Haryana. In which he died. The deceased had taken his wife from her maternal home. Where the in-laws got angry seeing her and started fighting with her. After which he sprinkled petrol and set it on fire. Police has registered a case of murder against 5 people.

Shiv Kumar, brother of the deceased, a resident of Amargarh village of Jind, told in the complaint given in Kalayat police station that he has 3 brothers and 4 sisters. All are married. Her brother Rajeev Kumar (27) was married to Sakina daughter Chandrabhan resident of Shimla district Kaithal about 4 years ago. In the same family, his sister Sahil Kumari was married to Sagar’s son Chandrabhan resident of Shimla about four years ago.

His brother has a boy Eklavya whose age is about 3 years. Even after that there used to be a fight between his brother Rajeev and sister-in-law Sakina. Panchayats were also held many times regarding the quarrel, but every time a settlement was reached.

About two months back, Sakina had gone to Shimla village near her parents after a quarrel with her brother Rajeev. His brother-in-law Sagar used to tell Rajiv that he would see you when he comes to village Shimla. On Sunday, his brother Rajeev went to village Shimla to pick up Sakina. In Shimla, his sister Sahil, Rajeev’s wife Sakina, Kelo Devi, Chandrabhan, Sagar assaulted Rajeev and set him ablaze by sprinkling oil. In which Rajeev died on the spot.
