Jabalpurone day before
The girl whose body was found in the resort of Jabalpur was murdered by the youth who stayed with her. The young man slit her throat in the resort room itself. On Friday, two videos related to this murder surfaced. In a video, he is showing a girl covered in blood by picking up a quilt. At the same time, in the second video, the accused youth is talking about the involvement of one of his business partners, while stating the reason for the incident. He says that Shilpa was repeatedly demanding money from my partner. At his behest, I killed him.
Two videos of the accused youth surfaced on Friday. In one of these, he is telling Shilpa to be blackmailing for money, giving the reason for the incident.
Earlier on Friday morning i.e. 4 days after the murder, a video of the young man came to the fore. Which was made by the accused youth in room number-5 of the resort. In the VIDEO, he says in anger that ‘not to commit infidelity…’ and then abusing, saying- ‘This is the fate of those who commit infidelity’. Punjabi song is also playing in the video.
Police said that 21-year-old Shilpa Jharia was found dead in a room of Mekhla Resort in Jabalpur on Tuesday. The special thing is that even after 4 days of death, his social media account is being operated. Some photos were uploaded on the girl’s Instagram page on Tuesday and Wednesday. Those were deleted on Thursday. After some time 2 new photos were uploaded again. In this, young men and women are seen in the hotel room. Police sources say that the accused has been arrested. However, the police have not confirmed this.
Apart from the accused youth, photographs of Shilpa along with other boys have also been posted on social media. Shilpa Bhokha was a resident of Deori village. She was living in Gorakhpur area of Jabalpur for 3 years with a rented room. Her relatives say that she used to earn her living by working in a beauty parlour. She used to visit the village very rarely. She went to the village for the last time this Diwali.

On Tuesday (November 8), the body of a girl wrapped in a quilt was found in room number 5 of the Mekhla resort. His throat and wrists were found slit. There was blood on the bed. The deceased was identified as Shilpa Jharia. She had come two days ago with Abhijeet Patidar to this resort located on New Bhedaghat Road, about 20 km from the city.
Some photos were uploaded on the girl’s Instagram page on Tuesday and Wednesday. They were deleted on Thursday.
The girl stayed in the resort by telling the name of Rakhi
According to information received from the Mekhla resort management, Shilpa had come to the resort on November 6 (Sunday) with a young man. Both had told that they are residents of Gujarat and have come to Jabalpur for some work. The girl had given the Aadhar card to the resort staff for check-in and had given her name as Rakhi Mishra. The boy had also given ID stating the name Abhijeet Patidar. He was given a room after depositing Rs 1500 at the resort counter.
The dead body of the girl was found wrapped in a quilt on the bed in the room. His death was known as soon as the quilt was removed. The accused youth has made his video in this room. In which it is saying – not to commit infidelity.
In the evening, both of them went for a walk together, in the night the young man returned alone
The hotel staff told that both had gone out for a walk together on Sunday evening. They were also seen going together in the CCTV installed outside the resort. However, the boy returned to the resort alone at night. On Monday (November 7), Abhijeet had dinner at the resort itself and then went out in the afternoon. He returned with the girl at 4 pm and went to the room. After about two and a half hours at 6.30 pm, the youth left the resort and did not return.
Even after death, the girl’s social media account is active. Photos are being uploaded and deleted continuously on it.
Suspicion arose when the room did not open till Tuesday afternoon
The staff knew about the girl being in the room. From Monday evening to Tuesday afternoon, the room gate did not open nor was any order made. Even the boy did not return, so the staff got suspicious. He knocked on the gate. Informed the manager when there was no sound. After this the gate was opened with the master key. Inside, the dead body of the girl was found wrapped in a blood-stained quilt on the bed.
2 bottles of liquor found in the room
On searching the room, the police found 2 liquor bottles from the room. One of the bottles was empty, while the other was half full. Two blades were also found lying near the bed. It is suspected that the girl’s wrist and throat have been slit with a blade.
Abhijeet is accused of duping a Jabalpur businessman of more than Rs 8 lakh. In this photo, bundles of notes are also seen with the young man.
The ID from whose room was taken has also come to the fore.
Rakhi Mishra, who is living on rent in Aadhartal area of Jabalpur, told that her Aadhaar card was lost two years back. He searched a lot, but could not find it. After which the second copy was taken out. Rakhi also told that after missing the Aadhaar card, a girl named Shilpa had sent her a friend request on social media. We also talked a couple of times through social media. We had never met. I don’t know how my ID reached him.
The youth had cheated 8.60 lakhs 3 months ago
Abhijeet Patidar, accused of killing the girl, has cheated a businessman of Rs 8.60 lakh 3 months ago. Trader Manish Chimnani had lodged an FIR in the Kotwali police station of Jabalpur. According to the FIR, Abhijit Patidar had ordered 8 tonnes of sugar, 204 cans of 15 liters of soybean oil and 100 boxes of 1 liter sachets of soybean oil to M/s Bharat & Co.
Its bill was Rs 8 lakh 60 thousand. He had asked to pay for it in the evening, but without paying, he disappeared after selling the supplied goods in the market. According to the trader, earlier Abhijeet Patidar had bought sugar and oil in cash.
