Former Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday met his wife Seema Sisodia after 103 days. Seema is battling a disease called Multiple Sclerosis. The court granted bail to Sisodia for 7 hours to meet his wife.
After meeting Sisodia, Seema alleged that the police kept sitting at her bedroom door during the 7-hour meeting. The police were constantly watching them and listening to everything they said. Seema shared a note on Facebook saying that perhaps that is why they say politics is dirty.
Seema said – well wishers had asked not to enter politics
Seema wrote in the note that at the time of formation of Aam Aadmi Party, many well-wishers had told not to get involved in politics. The people already sitting here will not allow the work to be done and will disturb the family separately. But Manish was stubborn.
He formed a party with Arvind ji and others and also showed it by working. His politics forced big people to talk on the issues of education, health, electricity and water.

Sisodia read the history of education of the world in jail

Seema wrote in the note that I am proud that my husband is still in his same stubbornness and attitude. By conspiring against Arvind and Manish, they would be happy that Arvind’s constable was put in jail. But I am seeing that the dream of an educated and prosperous India of 2047 is being firmly woven in a cell of Tihar Jail.

Court had given permission to meet for 7 hours
Sisodia had sought bail for six weeks from the Delhi High Court on the basis of his wife’s medical condition. His petition was rejected by the court. Justice Dinesh Sharma had said that the allegations are very serious in nature, so it is difficult to release him for 6 weeks.

Could not meet wife on previous bail
Manish had come to meet his wife under police protection on June 3, but could not meet.
Manish Sisodia had earlier also got bail for 7 hours to meet his wife. He reached home on the morning of June 3 to meet wife Seema Sisodia. However, before reaching her home, Seema’s health worsened, after which she was admitted to the hospital.

CBI had arrested Sisodia on February 26 after a long interrogation.
Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26 in the liquor policy case. On March 9, the ED took him into its custody. ED has filed a 2100 page supplementary charge sheet against him. At the same time, CBI has already filed the charge sheet.
In this case, the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia has been extended till 6th July. The Rouse Avenue Court has asked the CBI to submit copies of all documents including the charge sheet and supplementary charge sheet filed against Sisodia.
