Shuvendur alleges Tk 500 crore tender corruption in Central ‘Jal Jiban’ Mission

Leader of Opposition Subvendu Adhikari made an explosive claim of tender corruption in the state with central project money. In a press conference on Friday, he claimed that there has been a corruption of around Tk 500 crore in the state. He claimed that this money has reached the top level of Trinamool. He also said that he will write a letter to Union Urban Development Minister Gajendra Shekhawat on Friday demanding an investigation into the entire corruption.

On this day, Subhendubabu claimed that three specific organizations of Howrah have received the vow to buy Ferul under the Central Water Life Mission. They participated in all the tenders. One of them was disqualified and the tender was opened among the remaining 2 participants. In return, some state public health minister Pulak Roy, some officials of the department and nephew PA S Roy have collected huge sums of money from those companies.

Shuvendubabu claims that people have been forced to buy Ferul worth Tk 213 at Tk 570. In this way the Trinamool leaders reached the top level of Trinamool with about 500 crore rupees. He said, wherever the money of cattle, coal, stone smuggling reaches, this money also reaches there.

He claimed that there was corruption like 2G spectrum, Commonwealth Games. I will write to Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat today. I will request him to investigate this corruption. If the investigation is not started within 7 days, I will file a public interest case in the court.
