Shooting Of Darshan-starrer Devil Yet To Start: Director Prakash Veer – News18

A teaser of Devil will be released on February 16.

On the occasion of Diwali, a first-look poster of Darshan from the film was unveiled.

Kannada star Darshan is going to appear in a movie titled Devil, directed by Prakash Veer of Milana fame. Following their 2017 film Tarak, which also starred Sruthi Hariharan and Shanvi Srivastava, this is Darshan and Prakash’s second collaboration. Devil will have music by Ajaneesh Loknath and cinematography by Santhosh Rai Pathaje.

Director Prakash recently revealed that the actual shooting for the film has not yet started with only a few scenes having already been shot. The reason was that Darshan was busy with the promotions of his film Kaatera at the time Devil was launched. The production team has been quite tight-lipped about the project and very few updates have been out about the film ever since it was announced in November. Just one poster of Devil has been released yet and it did not reveal much.

Fans are eager to know more about the film, especially about Darshan’s look in the film, more so after the massive success of Kaatera. On the occasion of Diwali, a first-look poster of Darshan from the film was unveiled and invoked a positive response. Darshan’s fans, who refer to the actor as “D Boss”, defined the first-look poster as a perfect combination of a “hero through the eyes of a devil’s character”.

Now, the wait may finally be over as Prakash has some interesting notes for fans. Darshan’s birthday falls on February 16. It has long been a tradition in South Indian films to release information about upcoming movies on the birthdays of the leading stars. The same is the case here as the filmmaker has confirmed that a teaser of Devil will be released on February 16. This is an official announcement and hence fans have to hold on for just three more days.

Meanwhile, Darshan’s previous venture Kaatera was a big success at the box office. Following their 2021 action drama Roberrt, Darshan and Tharun Sudhir collaborated for Kaatera. Recently, Darshan made a brief appearance in the wrestling drama Garadi directed by Yogaraj Bhat.
