Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said about Gyanvapi Masjid that we had different devotion towards some places and we talked about them, but we should not bring a new issue daily. We have devotion towards Gyanvapi and it is okay to do something accordingly, but why look for Shivling in every mosque?

Speaking at the concluding function of Sangh Shiksha Varg III year 2022 in Nagpur, the Sarsanghchalak said, where there is devotion of Hindus, issues have been raised. Hindus do not think against Muslims, the ancestors of Muslims were also Hindus. Hindus feel that shrines were demolished to keep them away from freedom forever and to suppress morale, so religious places should be restored.

The Sangh chief said, if there is any issue in the mind, it arises. It is against anyone, it should not be considered as such. If this is the case, then find a way out with mutual consent. However, every time there is no way out, due to which people go to court. We should abide by the decisions considering our judicial system as holy and supreme. His decisions should not be questioned.

we don’t have to be world champions
Bhagwat said, India does not have to be a world champion. India does not exist to conquer anyone but to unite all. They asked, do we want to be world champions? No, we have no such aspiration. We don’t want anyone to win. We have to connect everyone. Sangh also works to unite everyone, not to win.

Without policy, power becomes autocratic
“Without policy, power becomes autocratic, as we can see in Ukraine,” he said. Russia invades Ukraine. It is being opposed but no one is able to muster the courage to stop it, because he has the power. Had India been powerful enough, it would have stopped the war, but it is not. Our power is still increasing.
