Sharad died on Thursday at the age of 75 in a private hospital in Delhi.
Former Union Minister and former National President of JDU (Janata Dal) Sharad Yadav will be cremated at his native village Aankhmau in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh at 1.30 pm on Saturday.
His body will be brought to Bhopal in a chartered flight from Delhi at 9.15 am. The flight will reach Raja Bhoj Airport at 11 am. Here CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan will pay tribute at the State Hangar. After this, his body will be taken to his native village by road. Sharad died on Thursday at the age of 75 in a private hospital in Delhi.

Politics in three states, had a special attachment to the village
Sharad Yadav was born in Aankhmau, a small village in Makhannagar block of Narmadapuram, MP. Started politics from Jabalpur and also worked in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. But, his attachment to his native village was the same. Whenever he got a chance, he used to come to his village. He used to come here like a normal person and meet people.
His friends say that he was courageous and fearless since childhood. At the age of 12, he saved a woman’s life by jumping into the village well. Sharad Yadav’s childhood friend bullion trader Ramesh Chand Soni, resident of Makhannagar (Ankhmau) told that Sharad’s memory was unmatched. He never forgot anyone. It was about 20 years ago, when Sharad had come to the village from Bihar. He and I were sitting at a shop in Makhannagar. Mohanlal the confectioner was standing in front of us. I asked Sharad that do you know him, then Sharad said that I do know, this is Mohanlal, but he does not recognize me. Then we told Mohanlal that you know him. He said no.
Sharad Yadav was courageous since childhood
Ramesh Chand told that it is a matter of 6th-7th class. When we were around 11-12 years old. Then there was a well located near the hospital in Kasera Mohalla in the village. A woman had fallen in it. Sharad jumped straight in without understanding anything. That woman was saved by bringing her out. He was courageous and fearless from the beginning.
He was mild natured, cheerful and sociable – Gurudayal
Gurudayal Yadav told that we used to call Sharad Yadav as brother.
74 year old Gurudayal Yadav of Aankhmau told us Sharad Yadav “brother” Used to address by saying. I was younger than him. I have been working in his house for many years. Brother whenever he used to come to the village from Bihar. Used to talk to us with love. He used to sit and inquire about his condition and explain. Despite being a national leader and former Union Minister, there was no change in his nature. He was mild-mannered, cheerful and friendly.
Brother’s last conversation was on New Year

Retired District Education Officer, elder brother SPS Yadav told that his last conversation with younger brother Sharad Yadav was on January 1, 2023. On the first day of the new year Sharad called me and said Happy New Year brother. Got sick four months ago. Dialysis used to happen in Delhi. That’s why they could not come to the village. Whenever he got time, he used to come to the village once in a year or two. Had come to the village in 2022 last year.
