Sharad Pawar, who left the post of NCP president on May 2, took back his resignation within 4 days.

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar on Tuesday questioned the stature of Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan in his own party. He said that Chavan should see what is his stature in his own party. Any ally of the Congress party will tell him his stature.

Actually, NCP has fielded its candidates in the Karnataka assembly elections. For this, Chavan targeted Sharad Pawar. He had said that the ‘B team’ of the Bharatiya Janata Party is the NCP.

Pawar said – We are starting from zero in Karnataka
On the logic of fielding a candidate in the Karnataka elections, he said that our party wants to increase its stature. That is why he has entered Karnataka. We did not hold any discussion with the Congress or other allies in Karnataka as we wanted to start afresh. Our party is looking to start from zero there. That’s why we neither talked nor made any promises with the Congress.

Seeking votes in the name of caste and religion unethical: Pawar
On the politics of Bajrang Bali and Bajrang Dal in Karnataka, Pawar said that seeking votes in the name of caste and religion is unethical. This is a violation of the oath of MP or MLA. I am surprised that the Prime Minister takes such a stand in front of the public. The government should tell what work has been done in the last five years because it is their government in Karnataka.
