Reactions of big stars like Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar have also come on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Parliament House.
Today i.e. on May 28, PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Parliament House building. Bollywood celebrities have also reacted on this occasion. Shahrukh Khan has congratulated the countrymen and PM Modi by sharing a video of the new Parliament on his social media. He said that this Parliament House is the new home of our hopes.
Apart from this, superstars like Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth have also expressed their happiness. PM Modi shared a video of the new Parliament House on 26 May. While sharing, he had appealed to the people to give their voice to this video. Shah Rukh and Akshay Kumar lent their voices to the PM’s appeal.
Shahrukh wrote – This is a wonderful home for the people who represent us.
Giving his voice to the video, Shahrukh said – This new house should be so big that it can house people from every corner of the country. May the arms of this house be so wide that it can love every caste and every religion of the country. Its vision should be so deep that it can see every single citizen of the country.
Apart from this, Shahrukh also made a tweet. What a wonderful home it is for those who uphold our Constitution, represent our people and protect the diversity of our country. It may be a new Parliament House of a new India, but it reflects the centuries-old glorious history of India.
PM Modi also retweeted Shahrukh’s tweet and wrote, ‘You have expressed your feelings very well. The new Parliament House is a symbol of democratic power and progress. It combines tradition with modernity.

Akshay Kumar said in the video- When I used to live in Delhi as a child, I used to go for a walk around India Gate with my parents. I used to see that all the buildings were made by the British. Today, when I see this new building, my heart is beating with joy.
Akshay wrote in the tweet along with the video, ‘I am very proud to see the new Parliament House. I want it to become a symbol of India’s development in times to come.
In response to Akshay’s tweet, PM Modi wrote, ‘You have expressed your views very well. Our new Parliament is indeed a beacon of our democracy. It reflects the country’s rich heritage and future prospects.

PM Modi inaugurated the new Parliament House
Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Parliament amid havan and chanting. After the worship, the adhanams from the monasteries of Tamil Nadu handed over Sengol to PM Modi. The Prime Minister installed it next to the Speaker’s chair in the Parliament after prostrating. During this, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla was present with him.

After the Sengol installation, PM Modi honored the Shram Yogis who were involved in the construction of the Parliament. After this there was an all-religion meeting. Union ministers and chief ministers of states were present in the prayer meeting.

PM Modi reached the Parliament at 7:30 am and first bowed down to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and then joined the worship.
