Union Home Minister Amit Shah will take ‘class’ of Punjab BJP today. He will have a meeting with the BJP leaders of Punjab in Chandigarh. In which apart from Punjab Pradhan, General Secretary and Lok Sabha constituency in-charge have been called. During this, he will take feedback from the leaders of Punjab on the schemes of the Centre.

Apart from this, we will also discuss about the current political situation in the state and the position of BJP in it. On this occasion Akali leader Sarup Singla from Bathinda is set to join BJP. Senior Congress leader from Amritsar Rajkumar Verka can also join BJP.

Sarup Chand Singla had accused the Akali Dal of helping Congress candidate Manpreet Badal in the last assembly elections.

Sangrur by-election will also be discussed
Sangrur Lok Sabha by-election will also be discussed in this meeting to be held in the afternoon at the BJP headquarters in Chandigarh. Voting is to be held in Sangrur on June 23. Till now BJP has not announced the candidate. The BJP wants to field Parminder Dhindsa, son of SAD Samyukta chief Sukhdev Dhindsa, to contest the elections.
