Earlier in the day, a massive battalion of police forces were deployed to the protest sites. CTET and BTET pass candidates were among the protesters who were demanding that the primary teachers’ recruitment notification be issued.
The protesting candidates said that they are waiting for the recruitment to begin from 2019. For the last three years, the government has only been assuring to start the process, the protesters said.
One of the protesters said that before the formation of the new RJAD-JD(U) government, Tejashwi Yadav used to say that the process of recruitment would start in the first cabinet. But nothing has happened so far.
