Second phase of Haryana Panchayat elections: Panch-Sarpanch voting in 9 districts on November 12, Sonepat most sensitive; 4 districts in the third phase

The second phase of Panchayat elections in Haryana has been announced. In the second phase, nine districts namely Ambala, Charkhi-Dadri, Gurugram, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa and Sonipat have been included. Voting for Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti members will be held on November 9 and for Panch-Sarpanch on November 12.

In the second phase of Panchayat elections, 1,023 polling booths have been identified as sensitive. Maximum 2,36 polling booths are very sensitive in Sonepat. On the second number, 152 polling booths in Sirsa, 141 in Rohtak have been kept in the category of very sensitive. At least 17 booths in Gurugram are very sensitive. At the same time, Panchayat elections in 4 districts will be held in the third phase.

9 districts in the first phase also
In the first phase also, elections will be held in 9 districts Panipat, Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Jind, Kaithal, Mahendragarh, Nuh, Panchkula and Yamunanagar. Earlier, Fatehabad was also included in this but was removed due to Adampur by-election.

In the first phase, the polling for Panch-Sarpanch will be held on November 2 and the result will also come on the same day. In the first phase, the voting of Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti members will be held on October 30 but its result will come with all the districts.

Voting in 2,9740 seats in the second phase
In the nine districts included in the second phase, elections will be held on a total of 157 blocks, 2683 gram panchayats, 25655 sarpanches, 1244 panchayat samiti, 158 zilla parishads. If we look at the district wise seats, then elections are being conducted on a total of 29740 seats.

48,67,132 people will cast their votes in 5963 booths
Voting will be held in 5,963 polling booths in the second phase of panchayat elections. A total of 48,67,132 people will vote in these booths. These include 25,89,270 males, 22,77,,795 females and 67 other voters.

Polling in the third phase in 4 districts
Hisar, Fatehabad, Faridabad and Palwal have not been included in the second phase. Panchayat elections will be held in these districts in the third phase. State Election Commissioner Dhanpat Singh has given the administrative reason behind this. They say that Fatehabad district shares its borders with Hisar and Adampur. Fatehabad has also been included in the third phase so that the process of holding both the elections together is not affected. Voting for the Adampur by-election is to be held on November 3 and counting on November 6.

The third phase of elections will be held after November 8
Elections will be held in Hisar, Fatehabad, Faridabad and Palwal after November 8. The first phase of polling is on October 30 and November 2. Polling in the second phase is on October 9 and November 12.
