School Hostel Incident of Killachery: The girl who went to school before she died, returned and hanged her; Family’s allegation- School is lying on death

The body of a class 12 student was found in the hostel of a private school in Kilacheri in Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu on Tuesday. As soon as this news came to the fore, police force was deployed in the school campus. The name of the girl who died is P Sarla. 17-year-old Sarla’s family members demonstrated after reaching the school, alleging that the school did not inform about it on time.

The victim’s parents and relatives also staged a ruckus in Thakloor. DIG Kancheepuram M Satya Priya said that the CB-CID has started investigation in the matter.

Sarla, who studied at Sacred Heart Girls’ School, was the daughter of Pusanam and Murugammal. According to reports, Sarla had gone to school in the morning and then went to her hostel room. When she did not return even after a few hours, the school authorities alerted the hostel and on enquiry, she was found hanging in her room. The school declared a holiday on Tuesday due to the incident.

Sister said – will not take the dead body without knowing the truth

The family says that the schoolmates told them that Sarla had consumed poison.

Sarla’s sister Gayatri, who is sitting on a dharna with the family, has said- “We suspect that there is something that is yet to be revealed. We will not take her body until we find out what really happened to her.” Yes. She can’t commit suicide. She talked to all of us last night.”

Third case of suicide in 15 days
This is the third case in 15 days after P Sarla’s suicide. Earlier in Kallakurichi and Hyderabad also two girls Shrimati and Varshita had committed suicide under suspicious circumstances. The investigation in both the cases is on.
