Hearing in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case was held in the Supreme Court today. The court has reserved the decision on the plea of cancellation of bail of Ashish Mishra, son of Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni. The special bench of CJI NV Ramana heard the matter. The retired judge of the High Court, supervising the SIT, had recommended an appeal for cancellation of Ashish Mishra’s bail. The Supreme Court had sought a reply from the UP government on the letter.
The crime was of a serious nature, the government said

The government had demanded not to grant bail, but the High Court had a different view in this matter. The stand of the government on the appeal is still the same as in the affidavit filed earlier. People died after being hit by a vehicle. The issue is not of bullet injury, it is necessary to unravel the layers of conspiracy.
No flight risk with Ashish
However, the UP government also said that there is no flight risk about Ashish Mishra. He cannot tamper with the witnesses, we have provided security to every witness, we had strongly opposed the bail.

The monitoring committee of the Supreme Court on Monday filed a status report in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. The status report said that the cancellation of Ashish Mishra’s bail was recommended. The SIT had also recommended cancellation of bail twice. The report said that as per the evidence, Ashish was on the spot. Ashish was also aware of the change of route of the Deputy CM.
On 3 October 2021, 8 people were killed in violence in Tikunia, Lakhimpur. It is alleged that Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni, had crushed the farmers with his jeep. After that 4 including Ashish’s driver were killed by an angry mob.
Answer was sought from Uttar Pradesh government
The petition challenging the bail of Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, was heard in the Supreme Court on March 30. The court had sought a response from the Uttar Pradesh government on the report of the judge supervising the SIT investigation. In view of the report, the Supreme Court has said that the monitoring judge had written a letter to the state government to file an appeal to cancel the bail of Ashish Mishra. On this the government was to respond by Monday.

Ashish got bail on February 15
Let us tell you that on February 10, the main accused in the Lakhimpur violence case, Ashish Mishra, got bail from the High Court. Ashish was released from jail after 129 days on February 15. Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra is the son of Teni. He is the main accused in the case of the farmers being crushed to death on October 3, 2021. A total of eight people, including four farmers, had died in this incident.
According to sources, Ashish Mishra was granted bail by the Lucknow Bench of the High Court. The matter had already been heard. The court later gave its decision on this. Ashish was released from jail after filling bail bond.

What happened in Lakhimpur?
Farmers were protesting in large numbers in Tikuniya village, adjacent to Nepal border, about 70 km from Lakhimpur district headquarters, at around 3 pm on October 3, 2021, when suddenly three vehicles (Thar Jeep, Fortuner and Scorpio) started trampling the farmers. Went. Angry farmers created a ruckus over the incident. A total of 8 people died in this violence. It included 4 farmers, a local journalist, two BJP workers.
