SC stays demolition of Goa restaurant linked to Sonali Phogat’s death

The Supreme Court on Friday stayed the demolition of Curlie’s restaurant in Goa, which was linked to the death of BJP leader Sonali Phogat.

“Just arresting and raiding will serve no purpose. Today, I find the mindset of the government very stern, they want action and they want to clean up the system,” said Mangirish Raikar, Former President, Goa Chambers.

On the other hand, Congress leader Raju Waghmare said, “Its not only the drug issues in Goa, there is tremendous violation of CRZ rules and there is tremendous violation of the land rules”.
