Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Launching Soon? Device Appears On 3C Certification Website

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE seems to be imminent as the device has been spotted on China’s 3C certification website, which means it has received the China Compulsory Certificate. The China Compulsory Certificate or 3C is a mandatory certification required for products that can be exported to the country, which is the world’s biggest smartphone market. According to the 3C listing, a Samsung device has been spotted with model number SM-S7110 which is likely to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, says a report by 91Mobiles.

According to leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE that were leaked earlier this week, the device looks pretty similar to the Galaxy S23 in terms of design language. Similarly, the volume keys and the power button are placed on the right side of the device and there is a punch-hole display with the selfie camera placed at the top centre of the phone.

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, the next iteration in the Galaxy S Fan Edition (FE) series was said to happen later this year and its camera and battery specifications were leaked a few weeks ago. The Galaxy S23 FE with model number SM-S711 may arrive with a 50MP camera and Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2200 chipset. The Galaxy S23 FE will be a successor to the Galaxy S21 FE that was unveiled two years back. Samsung had skipped the launch of the Galaxy S22 FE edition due to the global chipset crisis.

It is known that the Galaxy Fan Edition (FE) lineup from Samsung comprises the upper-mid-range segment of smartphones.

According to a previous GalaxyClub report, the 50MP camera on the Galaxy S23 FE could be the same as the one used on last year’s Galaxy S22 and this year’s Galaxy S23. It is not yet clear if there would be any upgrade in the selfie camera of the Galaxy S23 FE. To recall, the Galaxy S21 FE was launched with a 32MP selfie camera and the S22 and S23 were unveiled with 10MP and 12MP cameras, respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is likely to come with a 4,500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It is likely to rival the likes of smartphones such as OnePlus 11R, Google Pixel 7 and Samsung’s own Galaxy A54 5G.
