Samsung Galaxy F23 5G with 50MP camera and Android 12 launched, price starts at Rs 17,499 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Samsung Galaxy F23 5G is here. Samsung has expanded its F-series of smartphones with the launch of this mid-range Galaxy F23 5G in India. Successor to the last-year launched Galaxy F22, the smartphone sports a triple rear camera and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor. The smartphone also comes with a feature called Voice Focus, which promises to cut down ambient noise and amplify voice during calls. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery and runs Android 12 operating system.
Price and availability
Samsung Galaxy F23 5G comes in two variants — 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB — priced at Rs 17,499 and Rs 18,499 respectively. Customers can buy the smartphone in Aqua Blue and Forest Green colour options. The smartphone can be purchased online from Flipkart, Samsung.com and from authorised retail stores, starting March 16.
As part of the launch offers, ICICI Bank customers will get an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on the smartphone. Along with this, buyers will also get a two-month YouTube Premium subscription.
At this price point, the smartphone will face competition from Realme 9 Pro, which comes with a starting price tag of Rs 17,999.
Samsung Galaxy F23 5G specifications
Samsung Galaxy F23 5G comes with a 6.6-inch full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
Samsung Galaxy F23 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 128GB internal storage, which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card. The handset also offers 6GB virtual RAM.
The dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 12 operating system, topped with the company’s own Samsung One UI 4.1. The mid-range smartphone sports a triple rear camera with 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and 2MP macro camera. Front is home to an 8MP selfie shooter.
