Salman Khan’s Production House Threatens Legal Action Against FAKE Casting Calls: ‘If Any Party…’ – News18

Salman Khan’s production house, Salman Khan Films, issued a statement recently and warned everyone against fake casting calls. It clarified that neither Salman Khan nor his production company is casting for any film currently and further threatened legal action against those “falsely using” the actor’s name.

“This is to clarify that neither Mr Salman Khan nor Salman Khan Films are casting for any film currently. We have not hired any casting agents for any of our future films. Please do not trust any emails or messages received by you for this purpose. Legal action will be taken if any party is found falsely using Mr Khan’s or SKF’s name in any unauthorised manner,” the statement read. Check it out here:

This is not the first time that Salman Khan’s production company has issued a statement warning all against fake casting calls. Last year too, the company had warned those using actor’s name for fake casting calls.

‘Salman Khan Films’ has backed several movies including Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dabangg 3, Race 3, Hero, Tubelight, Loveyatri, Notebook, Bharat, Kaagaz, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, Antim: The Final Truth and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif. The film, which is third installment of the Tiger franchise, was a hit at the box office. Emraan Hashmi was seen as a villain and garnered a lot of praise.

Next, Salman Khan will soon collaborate with Karan Johar for a high-budget action film directed by Vishnuvardhan. Reportedly, the film is inspired by a true story and will feature Salman Khan in the role of a paramilitary officer. The initial plan was to start filming in November 2023, intending to release it on the big screen over the Christmas weekend in 2024. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.
