Salman Khan was in Dubai to support Sohail Khan’s team in CCL.
When a reporter asked Salman Khan if one can expect him to play cricket at some point, he said, “Woh mera cricket khelne ka time chala gaya hai.”
The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) kicked off with fervour in Dubai last month as Salman Khan joined his family to support brother Sohail Khan’s team, Mumbai Heroes. Salman Khan, Salma Khan, Helen, Arpita Khan, Arpita’s kids, Seema Sajdeh and Lulia Vantur showed up to support Sohail’s team. In a video that is now going viral on the internet, Salman says that cricket playing days are over.
When a reporter asks if one can expect him to play cricket at some point, Salman said, “Woh mera cricket khelne ka time chala gaya hai. Agar main cricket khel raha hota toh main aaj commentary bhi nahi de raha hota. Woh bhi umar chali gayi. Achha kar raha hoon aap logo ki dua se industry mein. Industry mein bahut achha kar raha hoon and it’s all because of you (My time for playing cricket has passed. If I were still playing cricket, I wouldn’t even be doing commentary today. That time has also passed. I am doing well in the industry, thanks to your blessings. I am doing very well in the industry, and it’s all because of you). Thank you to my audience and my fans.”
In another video shared by Salman, he could be seen having adorable moments with his mother, nephew and niece. Salman shared the video on Instagram featuring him entering the venue with his team in a blue shirt featuring the Mumbai Heroes’ logo. He then greeted his mother Salma by giving her warm kisses. He then greeted his nephew and niece.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman has a few projects in the making. His brother, Sohail Khan confirmed that Salman will dive into the making of Sher Khan next year. He also has a rumoured Tiger vs Pathaan film in the pipeline.
