RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat paid tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 125th birth anniversary. Recalling Netaji’s contributions at Moirang in Bishnupur district of Manipur’s capital Imphal, he appealed to today’s generation to follow the ideals of Netaji.

Addressing the program, the Sangh chief said that Netaji was not only fighting the British, but was also connecting the people of the whole country together. He said that Subhash Babu had the power to unite the whole country. He considered the whole country as his own. There is always a need for such a person in India.

Paying homage to Netaji, the Sangh chief said, ‘If Subhash Babu fought so hard with the British, imagine how much might he would have. But he did not have a single quarrel with his people. What is patriotism? To work for the whole country, not to quarrel with the people of our country despite differences of opinion.

Netaji could have fought if he wanted
Recalling Netaji, the RSS chief said, “Netaji was elected Congress President, there must be some reason, I don’t know what was Gandhiji’s wish.” The majority was with Netaji, he could have quarreled, but he did not. He withdrew. Because if we want to fight against the foreign power, then the country should be one, it should remain one. Your-mine, forgetting small interests, sacrificing one’s selfishness, fighting for the interest of the country, for the interest of the country. People from all over India were in his army, nothing of caste, creed, creed, province. He had the power to unite the whole country. Because, he himself considered the whole of India as his country. This is a national trend.

We can’t all be like Netaji
Bhagwat said, ‘Let us all follow his own path, we cannot become Subhash Babu, but we can become five steps better than what we are today. Because, by becoming like this, the change that comes in one’s own life and also in the life of the nation, it is beneficial for everyone. And when everyone is happy, then there is no need to make separate efforts for my own happiness. Therefore, this message of patriotism, national integration, dedication of all, of Netaji, for the sake of his life, we should remember today and we try to imitate it in our lives, this will be a true tribute to him.
