The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the recruitment notification for RPF (Railway Protection Force) 2024. The RRB has notified the recruitment drive to fill a total of 4,660 vacancies in the RPF for the posts of Constables and SI (Sub-Inspectors). As per the official announcement, the online registration cum application window for the recruitment drive will open on April 15 on the official RRB website. Interested candidates will be able to apply for the recruitment till May 14, 2024.
RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
To apply for the recruitment, candidates will also be required to pay an application fee of Rs 500. However, candidates from the SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Minorities or Economically Backward Classes will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 250 only.
RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria And Age Limit
Candidates may further not they ensure that they fulfill all eligibility criteria for the recruitment before applying for the same. To apply for the post of Sub-Inspector, candidates must have passed their graduation from any recognised university and must be aged between 20 to 28 years. For the post of Constables, aspirants must have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a board recognised by the government of India, and should also be aged between 18 to 28 years.
However, candidates from the reserved categories will be allowed age relaxation as per government norms. Moreover, candidates who are appearing or have appeared for the final exam of the qualifying degree and are awaiting results are not eligible to apply for the recruitment.
RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Selection Procedure
The shortlisting of candidates for the RRB RPF Recruitment 2024 shall be done on the basis of a written online examination followed by PET (Physical Efficiency Test) and PMT (Physical Measurement Test).
