Rohtak’s daughter became lieutenant: got 15th rank in the country in CDS; Dreamed of becoming an officer in the army, inspired by grandfather

Ishita Ohlyan, daughter of Sampla of Rohtak in Haryana, has cleared the Combined Defense Service (CDS) exam. Along with performing brilliantly, achieved 15th rank in the country. Ishita Ohlyan’s happiness knew no bounds as soon as the CDS result came. Now she will serve the country as a lieutenant in the Indian Army.

Ishita’s intention is to protect the country by staying on the front. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the family as well and happiness is being celebrated by feeding sweets. Father says that if there is a passion to do something in the mind then every destination can be achieved. Everyone blessed Ishita for this achievement.

Dreamed after listening to the story of the army from grandfather
Ishita said that her grandfather retired from the army as a subedar and used to tell stories of his army services. After which he had a desire to go to the army and serve. Due to which, despite having commerce in graduation, he joined NCC and learned a lot about the army.

Wish to get a star on the shoulder by grandfather’s hand
The family also supported him a lot to reach this point. Ishita said that though less women are sent to the front line in the army, she wants to go to the front line and serve the country. Now he wishes to get a star on his shoulder from his grandfather’s hand.

Don’t underestimate daughters
Ishita’s father Jogindra Koch said that he is very happy on this achievement of his daughter and daughters are no less than anyone. Nowadays daughters are hoisting their flag in every field, then why not in the army. The family encouraged her a lot for this hard work of the daughter and she wants to say the same to other people that daughters should not be underestimated.
