Revolt of Mahila Congress in Punjab: Pradhan said – We do not have a single ticket, if a girl can fight in UP, then the women here are no less

Now the Mahila Congress has also jumped in the tussle over ticket distribution in Punjab Congress. State Mahila Congress alleges that there were 12 ticket contenders from their organization but no one got the ticket. If a girl can fight in UP, then the women of Punjab also want to fight and claim their rights.

State President of Mahila Congress Balveer Rani Sodhi said that if Congress wants to ignore it like this, then disband this unit. Congress MPs do not have time to meet us, then what is the point of such an organization? He said that the remaining 8 tickets of Congress should be given to women leaders associated with Mahila Congress.

Always given place to Youth Congress

Balveer Rani Sodhi said that Congress has always given priority to youth wing. Ravneet Bittu became MP from Youth Congress. Vijayendra Singla and Amarinder Raja became ministers of wading. In contrast, no one is given ticket in Mahila Congress.

No value of women on party platform

Balveer Rani said that women have no value in the party platform of Congress. We expected that women would get preference after Charanjit Channi became the CM and Navjot Sidhu became the Congress President of Punjab. Sidhu had even gone to Sahnewal to promote Satwinder Bitti, but he did not even get a ticket.

If the claim is the ability to win, then 117 seats should be won.

Balveer Rani said that if the party says that they are giving ticket to the winning candidate, then accordingly we should get 117 seats. Despite having 50 per cent votes in Punjab, women were ignored.
