After refusing to become the president of Congress, Rahul Gandhi is now focusing on the Bharat Jodo Yatra. On Monday, he spoke to civil society people and prominent personalities at Delhi’s Constitution Club regarding its preparation. Congress party is going to start Bharat Jodo Yatra across the country from 7th September.

Travel of 3,500 km in 150 days, 12 states will be covered
This journey, which runs from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, will last for 150 days. During this, a journey of 3,500 km will be covered. Congress workers and leaders from different parts will join Rahul Gandhi in the yatra. According to Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh, through the Yatra, the Congress party will cover 12 states and 2 union territories of the country.

Rahul had announced to take out the yatra in Chintan Shivir
In the Congress’s Chintan Shivir in Udaipur, Rahul Gandhi had announced to take out ‘Bharat Jodo’ Yatra. In his speech on the last day of the camp, Rahul had said – We will again go to the public, strengthen our relations with them and this work will not be done by shortcut. This will happen through sweat, that is, by hard work.

PK had given the suggestion- talk to the people of civil society
During a presentation at Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s residence in April, Prashant Kishor had given several suggestions to the Congress high command. One of these suggestions was to establish contact with about 200 influential people, activists and civil society people in different parts of the country.
