The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced a job opportunity for the position of assistant. Starting from September 13, 2023, until October 4, 2023, candidates who are interested and meet the qualifications can apply online at opportunities.rbi.org.in. RBI intends to fill a total of 450 assistant positions across the country. The selection process involves multiple phases, including Preliminary, Main, and a Language Proficiency Test. The Preliminary exam will assess candidates’ reasoning ability, numerical ability, and English language skills.

Step 3: A new page will open with a PDF file, click on the apply online link.

Step 4: Register and log in using the generated application number and date of birth.

Step 5: Apply by completing the RBI Assistant Recruitment 2023 form.

Step 6: Pay the required fees and submit the form.

In the unreserved category, candidates need to pay Rs 450 whereas candidates from the reserved category will need to submit Rs 50 as application fees. To be eligible for the RBI Assistant position, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with at least 50 per cent marks (for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, passing marks are acceptable), and should also know how to use word processing software on a computer.

According to the official RBI Assistant Notification for 2023, candidates between 20 and 28 years old, born between 02/09/1995 and 01/09/2003 (inclusive of both dates) are only eligible to apply. However, there are age relaxations for reserved categories based on government rules.

For the selection of the post of Assistant, candidates need to go through a country-wide competition examination with two phases: a Preliminary and a Main exam.
