More than 1500 rats have been killed and buried in the last one month. The hospital management estimates that at present about 4 to 5 thousand rats are present in the hospital.

Taking precaution, this team is making patches from place to place and putting rat medicine there. Bayer cake, rodent trap and box, rodent glue are also used. Medical College Superintendent Tiku Sahu told that 50-60 rats are being killed daily.
