Rapper Hanumankind Makes Film Debut With Anurag Kashyap; First Look Poster Of ‘Rifle Club’ Out

New Delhi: Malayali rapper Hanumankind, who has broken several records and set a chartbuster rap ‘Big Dawgs’, will soon be making a film debut. And, this the Bengaluru-based rapper will be doing with none other than aueteur Anurag Kashyap. The ‘Dev D’ filmmaker shared the announcement on his official social media handle. Humankind’s debut film with Anurag Kashyap is titled ‘Rifle Club’.

Sharing a ‘Fight Club’ feel poster on his official Instagram handle, Anurag Kashyap wrote on Instagram, “ntroducing @hanumankind as Bheera 🔥 My volatile son #RifleClubMovie Hitting theatres soon!”

Anurag Kashyap had announced the film earlier with a video on his official Instagram handle. He had written, “Announcing my first Malayalam film as an actor with @aashiqabu. Looking forward to be part of the great moment of Malayalam cinema. OPM Cinemas in association with TRU Stories Entertainment. Produced by Aashiq Abu, co-produced by Vincent Vadakkan and Vishal Vincent Tony (sic),”

On the other hand, in the recent poster shared by him, we see the handsome rapper looking dashing and giving full gangsta vibes.

Hanumankind will play the role of Bheera in the Aashiq Abu.

A report by Manorama Online mentioned that Hanumankind recorded ‘Big Dawgs’ after completing the film’s shoot. Interestingly, he appears in the same look in both the film and the globally popular track.

‘Rifle Club’ will star Vani Viswanath, Dileesh Pothan, and Anurag Kashyap, who is also making his Malayalam film debut with this film. Meanwhile, Surabhi Lakshmi, Ramzan, Vishu Asgasthya, Vincy Aloshious and Unnimaya will be seen in supporting roles.

‘Rifle Club’ has been produced under the banner of OPM Cinemas and True Stories, with music of Rex Vijayan. Aashiq Abu will also be behind the cinematographer’s chair besides also being the director of the film. 

The screenplay of the film has been written by Shyam Pushkaran and Dileesh Karunakaran. ‘Rifle Club’ is slated to be released on Onam in theatres.
