The matter is of October 3, 2014. It was Friday. It was 5 in the morning. A 12-year-old girl was found lying unconscious in a pool of blood behind the military head quarter in Cantt area of Sagar in MP. Blood was oozing from the private part of the girl. There were cigarette burn marks on the body. There were wounds. Even in the investigation, the matter turned out to be brutal. As soon as this news spread in the city, people got angry. There were demonstrations and agitations at various places.
The innocent daughter was fighting a battle between life and death in the hospital. She regained consciousness after three months, but never fully recovered. Due to head injury, she started to remain silent. His treatment went on from Sagar to Bhopal, Indore.
Meanwhile, TB disease gripped him. Stone also happened. As a result of this she lost blood and she came to the bed. Couldn’t get out of bed for 6 years. The girl child was treated continuously for 6 years. He had a stone operation during the Corona period. After that she started recovering and is now completely healthy. She plays a lot. Runs Chirps in the house.

First let’s know what was the whole matter
A 12-year-old girl living in the Cantt police station area of Sagar was then in 7th class. She used to wake up every morning at 4 am and go for a walk in the Rajiv Gandhi Park located in Sadar. Even on the morning of October 3, 2014, she had gone to the park with her 8-year-old cousin. The park gate was closed. Meanwhile, at 5 in the morning a young man came on a bike. He said that the gate behind the park is open. As soon as the minor started going towards the back gate, the accused forcefully made her sit on the bike and took the parade towards the temple.
There was no one around to help. In such a situation, the 8-year-old sister came running home and told the family members. After this he started searching for the daughter. Meanwhile, the minor was found lying unconscious in a blood-soaked state behind the military headquarters. She was raped. He was immediately admitted to the hospital.
A stone was thrown on the face.
The miscreant first raped the minor, then burnt her with a cigarette. Stones were pelted on the head, face and other parts of the body. He ran away after throwing his daughter in a bloody condition. The family found her unconscious. Admitted to Sagar Hospital. From here he was sent to Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal for treatment. The victim regained consciousness after about 3 months, but she was neither able to talk properly nor was she able to recognize people properly. Sent to Indore for good treatment. After about 4 months of treatment there, the health of the victim improved.
After this, the family members brought her home after getting her discharged, but after coming home, she used to lie on the bed. The body was weak and there was lack of blood. Used to remain silent. The family members got treatment from different doctors, but in the meanwhile the victim was caught by TB disease. Along with this, stones also happened.
In 2020, when the investigation was done in Sagar’s private hospital, the diseases came to the fore. After this, the victim was treated with the help of government, administration, social worker and hospital management. Operation done. After the treatment, the health of the victim started improving. For about 6 years, the victim was lying on the bed in the hospital and at home. Neither could get up nor could walk, but now the victim is healthy for 6 months.
Now she walks, plays and runs. However, she still remains in shock. She gets lost while talking, but now she wants to go to school.
The girl said, I want to tell other girls that if someone has such a problem, have courage on yourself. If you have courage yourself, you will be able to tell others and win your battle. Do not be afraid….

Now go to school. After studying, I will become a doctor, so that I can save the lives of others. No one should be sick and upset like me. The victim’s uncle says- After the brutality with the daughter, she was constantly ill. He was treated at other places including Sagar, Bhopal, Indore. He was treated with the help of government, administration, public representatives and social workers. Earlier the family used to trade in tyres, but after the daughter’s case the business came to a complete standstill. Lakhs of rupees were spent in the treatment. Now the family has to be maintained by doing wages. But, today when I see my daughter chirping and playing, my soul is relieved. At that time, I had given up all hope about my daughter. The doctor also refused. But, she wanted to live and today she is blooming. Now he has to teach. Admission is not available in the school due to long time left from studies and age. There is talk of teaching private. If the daughter gets admission in the school then she can fulfill her dreams.
The predator is serving 20 years in jail
While taking action in Sagar’s famous rape case, in May 2015, the accused Kaustubh (then the accused was 21 years old) son Dinesh Dubey, resident of Daulatpur Pandepur Varanasi (UP) was arrested. The accused was studying in a private college while staying in a hostel in Sagar. The accused was a victim of mental disorder. After the matter reached the court, in the year 2017, the court, while hearing, sentenced the accused Kaustubh Dubey to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment. The accused has been lodged in jail since the conviction.
