Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s personal secretary has been accused of rape. In Delhi’s Uttam Nagar police station, a Dalit woman has filed a case against Sonia’s personal secretary PP Madhavan for raping her on the pretext of getting a job and marriage. An FIR has been registered at Delhi’s Uttam Nagar police station on 26 June.

The woman told in the FIR that her husband used to put up hoardings in the Congress office. He had died two years ago. After this he approached PP Madhavan for the job. He had several conversations with Madhavan.

Madhavan said – knows the woman, but the allegation is wrong
The woman alleges that Madhavan raped her several times on the pretext of a job and marriage. At the same time, on the allegations, Madhavan said that he knows the woman, but the allegations are false.

The woman met Madhavan several times
According to the FIR, on January 21, 2022, Madhavan had called the woman to his house for the first time. Madhavan then told him that he was divorced from his wife. The woman met Madhavan several times. During this, many times the woman has spoken about coercion with her in the FIR. On the complaint of the woman at Uttam Nagar police station, a case has been registered against Madhavan under sections 376, 506. Further investigation is on.
