The current academic session is nearing its end and preparations for the upcoming one are underway. Rajasthan Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Bikaner has officially started accepting applications for PG and PhD programs for the 2023-24 session. Interested candidates can apply for these courses online. The university welcomes applicants to submit their admission applications.

Dean Prof. Rajesh Kumar Dhudiya announced that admissions to all three colleges affiliated with the university will be managed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For postgraduate (PG) admissions, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) will administer the All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA), while admissions to PhD programs will be conducted through the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and the National Eligibility Test (NET).

A total of 114 seats are available for PG admissions. While for PhD admissions, there are 63 vacant seats. Candidates will be selected based on their previous academic performance. The deadline for online applications for postgraduate courses is February 28.

Applicants are required to submit fees along with the form. For PhD programs, applications can be submitted by April 24. Counselling for postgraduate admissions will take place at Veterinary College on March 1. Similarly, counselling for PhD admissions will be held on April 29. Details regarding admission fees and payment deadlines can be found on the website of the university.

In its PhD programs, Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS) covers subjects like Animal Genetics and Breeding, Animal Nutrition, Livestock Production and Management, Veterinary Anatomy and Histology. RAJUVAS offers postgraduate programs, which include the B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree Programme, in veterinary and animal sciences.
