Rajasthan: 15-year-old tribal girl found murdered in Bundi, 2 detained | Jaipur News – Times of India

KOTA: Blood-stained body of a 15-year-old tribal girl with fatal injury over neck, head and marks of biting was on Thursday late evening recovered from forest near Kalakunwa village under Basoli police station of Bundi.
Suspecting that the minor was murdered after rape, police on Friday morning detained two accused, including a minor boy and interrogation with them is underway.
SHO at Basoli police station Ramvilas Gurjar said the parents of deceased minor belonged to Nemka Kheda village in Bundi district and they had hired a piece of land in Kalakunwa village for cultivation, he further said adding the minor along with two other girls of the village had gone for grazing goats in the forest on Thursday noon.
Gurjar said, when the kin searched the minor, they found her naked body in the forest around 500 meters from their agriculture field following which they informed the police at around 7.40pm on Thursday evening. The minor was most likely raped before murder, he added.
The police on Friday morning detained two suspects, one of them is a minor, who also belonged to the same Bheel tribal community and lived under tin shade in nearby agriculture field, the SHO said.
The police lodged a case under section 302, 201, 376(2) (n) and sections of POCSO Act against unidentified accused and handed over the body to family members after post-mortem by medical board on Friday morning, he further said.
Bundi SP Jai Yadav also rushed to the spot on late Thursday evening and took stock of the situation.
The police are very close to disclose the case and have detained two suspects on Friday morning, however involvement of the third accused in the matter cannot be ruled out, Yadav said.
It is yet to be verified if it was a gang rape case as the police is linking the evidences and investigating scene of crime, the SP added.
